1. Fasten the intermediate flange (Fig. 17, item 3) to
the flywheel. Tightening torque:
$
M10 = 53 – 57 Nm
$
M12 = 93 – 97 Nm
Warning - danger of entanglement!
Parts of the body or items of clothing could
become trapped in rotating or moving parts
when the drive motor is in operation.

Fit the protective hood at a distance of
<3 cm from the flywheel.
2. Fasten intermediate flange 1 685 702 094 (Fig. 17,
item 4) on the intermediate flange.
Tightening torque: 90 – 100 Nm.

3. Slide the protective hood (Fig. 17, item 1) over the
intermediate flange and attach it to the EPS 815
clamping rail.
4. Slide the touch guard (Fig. 17, item 2) over the
intermediate flange and onto the protective hood.

Secure the intermediate flange 1 685 702 094
(Fig. 18, item 2) to the flywheel (Fig. 18, item 1)
of the EPS 708. Tightening torque: 90 – 100 Nm.
