ATTACHING THE ACCESSORY
WARNING
Disconnect the mains plug before changing any
accessories. The machine must be switched off
and the spindle must be at a standstill.
1. Locking the spindle (Fig. 3)
WARNING
Press in the spindle locking knob only when the
spindle is stationary!
Press in the spindle locking button and turn the
spindle by hand until you feel the spindle locking
button engage.

2. Fitting/removing the diamond cup wheel (Fig. 3)
To fi t:
Fit the support fl ange on the spindle. The fl ange
should not turn on the spindle when properly attached.
Lay the diamond cup wheel on the support fl ange so
that it lies fl at along the support fl ange.
The two sides of the clamping nut are diff erent. Screw
the clamping nut onto the spindle so that the band of
the clamping nut is facing upward.
Lock the spindle (see chapter 1). Turn the clamping
nut clockwise using the 2-hole spanner to secure.
To remove:
Lock the spindle (see chapter 1). Turn the clamping nut
anticlockwise using the 2-hole spanner to unscrew.

USE
1. Working close to walls (Fig. 4)
WARNING
To open and close the segment: switch off the
machine and pull the mains plug. The accessory
must be stationary.
WARNING
Only raise the segment when working close to
walls. Otherwise, the segment must be lowered.
The open area of the safety guard must face the
direction of the wall.

2. Setting the speed (Fig. 4)
Set the optimum speed on the setting wheel, depending
on the application.
A wheel setting of between 4 and 6 is suitable for most
applications.
3. Switching On and Off
WARNING
Always guide the machine with both hands.
WARNING
Switch on fi rst, then guide the accessory towards
the workpiece.
WARNING
The machine must not be allowed to draw in
additional dust and shavings. When switching
the machine on and off , keep it away from dust
deposits. After switching off the machine,
only set it down when the motor has come to a
standstill.
