Information about the model:
This train consists of the following components (in order
from front to back):
– Non-powered locomotive (No. 1) with built-in function
decoder
– Transport car (No. 1)
– Equipment car
– Fire extinguishing car
– First aid car
– Transport car (No. 2)
– Powered locomotive (No. 2)
The train must be kept in this sequence during operation.
The complete train is designed in such a way that in ope-
ration with Märklin Digital it goes to the site of the acci-
dent, is separated with the TELEX coupler on the transport
car coupled to the first aid car, and then Locomotive No.
2 together with the transport car shuttles prototypically
from the accident site to the rear staging area.

Function
• Possible operating systems:
6646/6647 Märklin Transformer, Märklin Delta,
Märklin Digital, Märklin Systems.
• Recognition of the mode of operation: automatic.
• Addresses that can be set: 01 – 80
• Setting the locomotive parameters (address, acce-
leration/braking delay, maximum speed): with the
Control Unit, Mobile Station, Central Station.
The non-powered Locomotive No. 1 offers these
features:
• Built-in function module for controlling 5 different
functions in digital operation with the 6021 Control Unit.
• Address set at the factory: 33 / 34
Name set at the factory: BR 714 009-8
• Built-in headlights on the end of the locomotive with
a short hood. Whether these lights are on or off
depends on the mode of operation in use.
• Permanently mounted, current-conducting close coup-
ler on the end of the locomotive coupled to the cars.
• Pickup shoe to provide power to the completely non-
powered part of the train.
