conducting close coupler for turning on the trackside
lights and the warning lights on the four special cars
coupled to this locomotive.

Note: Locomotive 1 uses two digital addresses (adress
33 and adress 34). These adresses may not be used
otherwise.
Locomotive no. 2 offers these features:
• Built-in high-efficiency propulsion with adjustable
maximum speed and adjustable acceleration and
braking delay.
• Address set at the factory: 33
Name set at the factory: BR 714 015-5
• Built-in headlights on the end of the locomotive with
the short hood. Whether these lights are on or off
depends on the mode of operation in use.
• Adjustable acceleration/braking delay (simul-
taneous). Adjustable maximum speed.
• Built-in auxiliary lights and warning light. Whether
these lights are on or off depends on the mode of
operation in use.
Transport Car 2 offers these features:
• Side trackside lights and warning light can be turned
on and off (switchable by lokomotive 2).
• TELEX coupler on the end of the locomotive coupled
to the first aid car can be turned on and off (switchab-
le by lokomotive 2).
