HANGING THE BATTERIES
The status of the batteries is automatically monitored. Fresh batteries of well-known brands allow
about 70 tests to be performed. Replace the batteries when the battery symbol starts
to blink after a test. Three fresh batteries CR2032 are required. Remove from the
packaging and insert into the battery compartment of the device.
We recommend changing the batteries when the Reader is connected to the mains via
the USB cable. In this case, the date and time settings are not lost while the batteries are
out. Without the cable connection, the time and date settings are lost if the batteries
don't power the Reader for 1 minute or longer.
Turn the battery cover with a smooth-edged coin counter-clockwise until
it stops. Turn the Reader slightly down, removing the battery cover.
