After the installation has been successful, press the button of the Reader until its display shows "ON",
connect the Reader to the PC via the provided USB cable, then launch the AMA RUT Expert software.
As soon as the Reader is ready for operation the software will automatically try to connect to the
Reader. This automated process operates
preconfigured after installing the software
and can be switched off later. In such case, it
is possible to connect the Reader manually
by pressing the Connect button. If the Reader
is connected successfully, the button turns to
Disconnect.
The software is activates automatically. To check that, click on Info and About AMA RUT Expert. The
window will say that the software license is valid.
To set the interface language that suits you best use the Language in the menu bar on top of the
software window. The Reader is now connected and ready to work with the software.
When the Reader is connected to
the PC via the USB cable, it is
powered by the USB port and
doesn't discharge the batteries.
There is no auto-shutdown until
the Reader is unplugged.
