All Readers produced, and checked before shipping under strict quality control
measures in order to guarantee a high degree of quality. Do not attempt to re-
configure or open the Reader (except detaching the slide holder). Always ensure
that the slide holder is attached to the Reader correctly. A wrong or improper
attachment can lead to incorrect results. Do not use the Reader in direct sunlight or
exposed to bright light while the readings are being taken. The Reader is designed
for use on a straight and horizontal surface area. The Reader can be operated at
temperature range from 17 to 35 °C and humidity range between 20% and 85%.
Ensure that the Reader reaches operating temperature before use. Protect the Reader from any
liquids. Any liquid entering the Reader enclosure can damage the Reader permanently.

IMITATIONS
False negative results may occur if:
 H.pylori inhibiting antibiotics have been taken 4-6 weeks prior to the examination;
 Acid inhibiting drugs (PPI or H2 blockers), antisecretory agents, anti-inflammation agents, analgetics
and bismuth drugs have been taken 14 days prior to the examination;
 Low ambient temperature; see The procedure on page 6.
Semi-quantitative results of AMA RUT Expert are based on kinetic evaluation of the urease activity. For
this, it is important to fix the period from the moment the biopsy specimen(s) carefully placed on the
reactive element until the possible spot appearance. The time fixation is carried out by the Reader
automatically, but it is important to start the reading no longer than 1 minute after the biopsy
specimen(s) have been placed on the reactive element of the slide. The semi-quantitative result is
