2. When the last biopsy is placed, reseal the cover. Squeezing the seal not
recommended, but accurate resealing is important to prevent the biopsy
specimen(s) from drying up.

Turn the slide upside down so that the yellow reactive element positions above.

Insert the slide into the slot on the bottom side of the Reader as far as it can go.
The slide should be inserted with the yellow
reactive element and the arrows upside. Make
sure the period between the biopsy placement
onto the slide and the first reading is as short as
possible. Should the period exceed 1 minute, the
test result is interpreted as qualitative only, please
see Limitations on page 20.
5. Turn the Reader on by pressing the button. When the display check is completed,
the display shows "WAIT" following; a "QC99" message appears. Alternatively an
audible alarm may beep three times and the display shows some default date and time values (for
example, "2016.03.21 11:17"), it means the correct date and time settings were lost. However, the
test can be continued, but the result will be saved under the default values of time and date. Before
the next test, please follow the instructions for date and time setting on page 13.
"QC" stands for "quality check", the procedure that must be fulfilled once in every 1000 tests to check
the correct reading. When the number of the tests comes close to the check, the message turns
