Adjusting the distance between dual rows

In the design stage, three types of "range of distances
between dual rows" are envisaged (see "Technical char-
acteristics" schedule).

Standard dual row adjustment (40 - 50)

NOTICE
Adjustment is only possible if the flexible plate (A) is
positioned with respect to the drop tube (B) as shown
in the figure.

Proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the screws (C).
2) Slide the side frames (D) and (E) along the support
until the required dual row positioning is obtained.
Position the side frames so they are both located at
the same distance from the planting unit's longitudi-
nal axis.

ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION
The work unit is supplied with the "range of distances
between dual rows" requested at the time of order.
The lower number (x) must be facing towards the out-
side of the planting unit and the higher number (y) fac-
ing inwards.
If this is not the case, the side frames on the planting unit
must be inverted (see "Changing the standard dual row
range").

3) Tighten the screws (C).
4) Check - and if necessary adjust - the flexible plate (see
"Adjusting the flexible plate with the ploughshare").
