trouBleSHooting

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. No power to heater
2. ON/OFF switch not in the ON

3. Thermostat setting is too low
4. Bad electrical connector at
ON/OFF switch or thermostat
5. Blown fuse on ignition control
assembly
6. Defective ignition control
assembly
7. Bad connection between motor
and ignition control assembly
8. Binding pump rotor
9. Defective motor

REMEDY
1. Check circuit breaker in elec-
trical panel
2. Verify the ON/OFF switch is in
ON (|) position and light is on
3. Turn thermostat knob to a
higher setting
WARNING: High voltage!
4. Check all electrical connections.

Check voltage to and from ON/
OFF switch and thermostat
5. See Ignition Control Assembly,

6. Replace ignition control
assembly
7. Check all electrical connections.

8. If fan does not turn freely, see

9. Replace motor
