Troubleshooting - Test A, Battery Cut-Out
Verify:
■ Battery charging equipment of the vehicle is operational.
■ AC/DC converter of the vehicle (if applicable) is operational.
START
Perform Diagnostic Prechecks.
Leave DC supply connected and
remove unit from its enclosure.
Inspect fuse on positive DC lead
connected to the module terminal "+".
Is the fuse good?
Yes
With the thermostat in the "OFF"
position, check the voltage at the DC
connector. Is the voltage within range?
12 VDC: 12.2 VDC -17 VDC
Yes
With the thermostat in the "5" position,
check the voltage at the DC connector.
Is the voltage within range?
12 VDC: 10.4 VDC -15.4 VDC
Yes
With the thermostat in the "5" position,
check the voltage at the control
module's (+) terminal. Is the voltage
within range?
12 VDC: 10.4 VDC -15.4 VDC
Yes

One flash 1/4 seconds, pause, repeat.
One (1) fl ash every 1/4 seconds, pause,
repeat.
Possible Cause:
The voltage is outside the cut out set-
ting. If DC voltage to refrigerator is less
than 8.5 volts, all outputs are inhibited,
but automatically resets.
Outputs are allowed to operate once DC
input voltage rises above 9.0 VDC.
Voltage for Proper Operation:
At 12 VDC nominal input must be:
■
Above 11.7 VDC to start.
■
Remain between 10.4 VDC to
15.4 VDC to continue operation.
