NOTES
Do not operate the device without water or with less water than is required to reach
the 8 oz mark (approx. 240 ml). If this does happen, the device switches off automa-
tically. In this case, allow the device to cool down before water is poured in and the
device is used again.
Never operate the device without a suitable vessel placed below the coffee outlet.
The
fi lled to-go coffee cup (14) must not be transported in a bag or similar
carrier as it cannot be sealed so that it will not drip.
1. Fill the water tank (3) (see the "Handling and Operation" chapter | "Filling the Water
Tank").
2. Insert the fi lter insert (17) and the permanent fi lter (16) (see the "Handling and Operation"
chapter | "Inserting the Filter").
3. Pour the amount of coffee powder you want into the permanent fi lter using a suitable
spoon. We recommend one heaped coffee measuring spoon (not supplied with the device)
per 125 ml.
4. Place the to-go coffee cup under the coffee outlet (4). Make sure that the cup lid (15) has
been opened. Otherwise the coffee cannot run into the to-go coffee cup.
You can also use any other vessel as long as it can hold at least 240 ml and fi ts under the
coffee outlet.
5. Press the An / Aus (On / Off) button (7) to start the brewing process. The
symbols appear on the display (9). The red operating lamp (10) fl ashes during the brewing
process. The water is transported from the water tank through the permanent fi lter into
the to-go coffee cup and kept warm inside it.
After the end of the brewing process, the two symbols on the display and the red operating
lamp go out. The device automatically switches to stand-by mode.
If the brewing process is to be aborted prematurely, press the An / Aus (On / Off)
button. The device switches back to stand-by mode.
6. Take the to-go coffee cup off the deposit surface (6). Simply slide the slide closure on the
lid cup forwards or backwards to open or close the drink opening (Picture D).
