While the Range Extender is charging, the battery charge
indication's LEDs will show the current level of the charge.
After the battery is fully charged, the LED light will turn off
after 5 seconds.

When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger
from the charging port by pressing the bottom tab and
pulling the charger cable.
NOTICE
Avoid leaving the charger connected to the
battery for more than 5 hours continuously
and always charge the battery under supervi-
sion so that you can disconnect the charger
if you detect any abnormality such as smoke,
a burning smell, or fire.
Lithium-ion batteries are sensitive to temper-
atures during the charging process. Always
respect the charging, discharging, and stor-
age temperature ranges described in this
manual.

If pressing the main button on the battery does not illumi-
nate the LEDs, the protection circuit is working. To release
the protection circuit, charge the battery by connecting
the original RS charger.
If the LED light starts flashing as shown in the following
table when pressing the main button or while charging the
battery, follow the recommended steps to release the pro-
tection functions or perform some necessary verification
actions accordingly.
Meaning of the error codes
Activation of the battery's capacity depletion
and low voltage protection mode.
Activation of the battery's high or low
temperature protection mode.
Activation of the battery's short circuit
protection mode.
Activation of permanent failure protection
mode or additional battery safety protection.
Activation of the current overload protection
mode.
After a long period of battery use, only the
LEDs illuminate when the battery is charging
and they blink for 10 seconds.

and the error cannot be identified using the
error code table, contact an authorized Or-
bea dealer for diagnosis.
LEDs Recommended action
Start charging the battery.
Place the battery in a dry environment
between 5°C~40°C for 1 hour before charging.
Remove any objects that may be shorting the
battery pins and check all cables.
Wait 30 seconds.
Stop charging and contact an authorized
dealer.
Remove the charger and stop charging the
battery. Wait 30 seconds.
Contact an authorized dealer to check the
battery status.
