The CPX analogue I/O modules are intended for use only in
CPX terminals. The analogue I/O modules for CPX ter-
minals each consist of an electronic module which is fitted
together with a combinable sub-base in a manifold base of
the CPX terminal.
The maximum values specified in the section "Technical
specifications" must be observed during operation. De-
tailed information can be found in the manual for the CPX
analogue I/O modules as well as in the CPX system manual
P.BE-CPX-SYS-... .
Warning
S Before carrying out installation and maintenance
work, switch off the following:
– the compressed air supply
– the operating and load voltage supplies.
S Connect an earthing cable with sufficient cross-sec-
tional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The I/O modules contain electrostatically sensitive
components. Do not therefore touch any contacts.
Observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
