STARTING PRODUCTION

Activation
Start the appliance only after
having filled the tank. It is stri-
ctly forbidden to use the pasta
cooker as a fryer.
The appliance must be used
with tap water inside the tank.
Any other use is improper and
therefore dangerous.
During operation the mini-
mum water level in the tank
must be 2 cm higher than the
support grid rack.
Use fine kitchen salt (with pieces
smaller than 3 mm). Otherwise
dissolve the salt in a recipient apart.
Salt must be added to the cooking
compartment when the water is boiling.
Do not introduce salt in cold water

Make sure that the water drainage
gate valve is at the "Closed" position
(Fig. 1A).
Turn the water filling knob to the
open position and fill the tank to the
level gauge (Fig. 2-2A).
Then turn the knob to zero to stop
the flow of water.
While operating, the water level in-
side the tank must remain within the
indicated limits.
During operation, top up the level
of the water in the tank as nee-
ded by acting on the specific knob
(Open-Adjust-Close).

The appliance must be swi-
tched on after having filled the
cooking compartment with wa-
ter. Do not switch it on when the co-
oking compartment is empty.
When lighting for the first time,
wait for the possible formation of
air inside the gas circuit to fully
escape from the duct.
Having successfully performed the
water filling operations, proceed
with the "Switch On/Off" procedure
as follows:
Turn the knob and press it in the
piezoelectric position.
Simultaneously press the button
several times to generate the spark
which ignites the pilot light (Fig. 3A).
Release the knob after about 20"
and check to make sure the pilot li-
ght remains lit. The pilot light can be
seen through the hole on the panel.
When the pilot light has been lit,
turn the knob to the desired position
(Fig.3B).
Turn the knob to "Zero" (Fig. 3C) to
switch the appliance off at the end
of the work cycle.

After having switched the appliance
on and the water begins to boil, load
the product into the container and
place it in the cooking compartment
(Fig. 4). We recommend a ratio of:
10l of water for 1kg of pasta.
Maintain a constant water level in
the cooking compartment. As ne-
eded, act on the water filling knob
(See Filling Water).
The knob which releases water
at a reduced flow allowing con-
stant top up of water in the co-
