Press the START-button. All digits and function sym-
bols in the display are momentarily lit up to indicate that
the unit is now ready for use.
The unit has an „intelligent" automatic system for infla-
ting the cuff to the correct pressure (softmatic). The
rising cuff pressure is displayed by the changing digits
in the window.
When the correct pressure is reached the pump switches
off and the air is automatically released from the cuff.
While the blood
pressure is being
taken the drop in
cuff pressure is
again digitally
displayed and symbol
is lit up.
Remember to remain
perfectly still and not
to speak.
