Examine the position of the capillary
tube. Capillary tube should be fully
inserted into the pocket in the
evaporator plate.

Disconnect wires from the thermostat.

Remove refrigerator from enclosure,
but keep a power supply (either AC
or DC) connected.
Disconnect thermostat wires at
control module terminals"C" and "T".
Did
YES
unit stop
operating?
NO
Reposition capillary tube. Test unit.
Replace the thermostat.
Repair shorted wires between thermostat
and control module. Test unit.
Replace the control module. Test unit.
