• D o not use the jug in the micro-
wave.
• D o not place the jug on a hot
stove.
• D o not use the jug to store
dairy products or baby food,
as there is a risk of bacterial
growth.
• D o not lay the filled jug on its
side, as liquid may escape.
• C lean the outer casing with a
soft, damp cloth.
ONLY for plastic jugs with
glass insert
• T o prevent damage to the glass
flask, do not use hard or sharp-
edged objects (e. g. cutlery,
dishwashing brushes or similar)
for stirring or cleaning and
do not fill with ice cubes or
carbonated liquids.
• D o not subject the glass flask to
high temperature fluctuations.
2. Before using for the first time
• Rinse the appliance before using it for the first time.
Operate it one time with the full amount of water
but without coffee or a coffee filter.
• Decide how long you want the power cable to be by
storing the excess cable in the storage on the base
of the appliance. .
• Connect the appliance to the power supply.
