Mounting
Jack up the motorcycle under the frame to lift the front wheel off the ground.
Loosen the two clamp screws [1] and the left fork leg axle passage.
Loosen the collar screw [2] and then the clamp screws [3] on the right
fork leg axle passage.
Hold the front wheel and pull out the wheel spindle. Carefully lift the front
wheel off the fork.
– DO NOT APPLY THE HAND BRAKE AS LONG AS THE FRONT WHEEL IS DIS-
MOUNTED.
– ALWAYS LAY THE WHEEL DOWN WITH THE BRAKE DISK FACING UP TO
AVOID DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE DISK.
– Slide both bushings [4] (24x30x47 left; 20x26x53 right) into the fork
leg axle passage and replace the original distance bushing on the brake
disk side of the front wheel with the distance bushing included in the
scope of supply.
– To mount the front wheel, lift into the fork, position and mount the Ø
20 mm wheel spindle.
Mount the collar screw [2], tighten the clamp screws [3] on the right fork
leg axle passage to keep the wheel spindle from turning and tighten the
collar nut to 40 Nm.
Loosen the clamp screw [3] on the right fork leg axle passage, take the
motorcycle off the stand, apply the front wheel brake and vigorously com-
press the fork several times to align the fork legs.
Now you can tighten the clamp screws on both fork leg axle passages to
15 Nm.
