Proceed as follows:
1. Press the AS−Interface cable into the upper part of the
cable socket.
2. Place the AS−Interface cable free of tension.
3. Place the cable socket in position and screw it tight
(max. 0.3 Nm).
It is not necessary to connect the functional earth cable.
Recommendation: For connecting the AS−Interface cable,
use cable sockets type ASI−SD−FK or ASI−SD−FK180 from
Festo. You will then comply with protection class IP65.

Pin 1 = − (light blue)

Caution
Functional damage
Do not disconnect the power supplies under load.
Seal unused flat cable ends with the Fest cable cap ASI−KK−
FK or the cable sleeve ASI−KT−FK. In this way you will avoid
leakage currents and comply with protection class IP65.
