USE
Homologated as anchor device on inclined, horizontal and vertical
timber, concrete and steel surfaces for 3 persons equipped with PPE
as per EN 361 and with the following fall protection systems as per
EN 363.
• Restraint and positioning systems (EN 358)
• Guided type fall arresters including a flexible anchor line (EN 353-2)
• Lanyards (EN 354) with energy absorbers (EN 355)
• Retractable fall arrest devices (EN 360)
To ensure safe use, follow the indications provided each time by the
PPE manufacturer.
REGULATIONS
The manufacturer declares that the following products: AOS01,
AOS50, AOS130, AOS200, AOS300, AOS400, AOS500 comply with
standards EN 795:2012 type A, CEN/TS 16415:2013 Notified
body, TÜV Süd Product Service GmbH, Ridlerstr.65, 80339 München
(test report no.: 713033865-100-4) and UNI11578:2015 tipo A.
The device has been tested in all directions (as illustrated below)
on all related substrates for inclined, horizontal and vertical timber,
concrete and steel surfaces.

FUNCTION
Rothoblaas AOS is an anchor device to be applied to a statically tested
substrate (e.g.: load-bearing structure of the roof) or to a Rothoblaas-
certified fall protection support (e.g.:TOWER / SHIELD) and is to be
used as an anchor device for personal protective equipment.
MATERIAL
Rothoblaas AOS is made of 1.4301 / AISI 304 stainless steel.

The anchor device must bear the following information:
• Type: Rothoblaas AOS
• Number(s) of relating standard(s): EN 795/A:2012,
CEN/TS 16415:2013 and UNI11578/A:2015
• Maximum number of users: 3 persons
• Name or logo of manufacturer/distributor: ROTHOBLAAS
• Serial number and year of manufacture:
X=order number , NN=sequential number YYYY= year
• Symbol indicating need to consult instructions for use:
WARNING: the maximum number of users is not indicated
only for AOS01 because this depends on the fastening
support (e.g.: TOWER or SHIELD) as follows:
TOWER / TOWER22 / TOWERA2: 4 PERSONS
SHIELD: 2 PERSONS
AOS01 CAN NOT be installed on its own.
