IINSTALLATION OF AOS01 ON ROTHOBLAAS-CERTIFIED
FALL PROTECTION SUPPORT
After correctly installing the Rothoblaas-certified fall protection
support (e.g.: TOWER / SHIELD), following the instructions given
in the corresponding manual, fasten the swivelling anchor eyebolt
AOS01 to the threaded end or to the stainless steel M16 bolt using
the specific self-locking nut and washer included so that at least 2
mm of thread protrudes and that the eyebolt can rotate freely.

INSTALLATION ON TIMBER STRUCTURE
Minimum beam size: 100x120 mm –min. quality GL24h
(as per EN14080)
Indispensable premise is a statically stable substructure.
If in doubt, consult a calculation expert.
It is absolutely necessary to select an AOS of suitable length
for the assembly conditions (substrate, etc.).

Drill a Ø 16 mm hole through the center of the rafter.
Fasten the swivelling eyebolt to the M16 threaded bar included using
the self-locking nut and the 2 locknuts included, so that at least 2
mm of thread protrudes from the self-locking nut and that the eye-
bolt can rotate freely.
Insert the threaded bar with the swivelling eyebolt into the hole and
tighten using the 2 locknuts included, making sure that the included
washers are in position between the lock nuts and the structure.
Firmly tighten the nuts making sure they are then locked one against
the other.
Should it be necessary to distance the swivelling eyebolt from the
structure, it is possible to use the remaining 2 lock nuts to adjust the
position by screwing them onto the bar prior to inserting the whole
set into the hole in the structure, tightening them one against the
other so that there is a space of at least 50 mm of thread before the
swivelling eyebolt, as shown in the figure above.
