12. Lock the locking casters on the cart. Carefully unwrap the Granite Top (M) and set it in place
with the dowel holes down and over the 1" Wood Dowels (O). It is strongly advised to use
two people when lifting and moving the Granite Top in place.
Optional: The unit is designed to hold the granite top in place using the weight of the top on
the two wood dowel pins. You may want to secure the granite top further by using a bead of
clear silicone adhesive along the top inside edges of the back and end aprons before putting
the top in place.
13. To install the drawer, tilt down slightly and place the wheels in the cabinet side slides. Raise
to level and push in. See FIGURE 13.

of Granite:
Granite is a natural, porous
stone. In order to maintain the
appearance and extend the life
of your Granite top, please follow
these general instructions for
care and maintenance.
Prior to using the top for the first
time, we recommend coating
it with at least two coats of a
sealer specifically designed for
granite countertops. Repeat with
one coat at least once a year.
Be sure to choose one that is
safe for food preparation. Follow
the instructions provided by the
manufacturer.
Clean with soap and water, or
any cleaner that is safe for food
preparation and approved for
granite countertops.
