2. Apply Anti-Seize to pinion
gear teeth. Place axle
through housing and place
on washers and gears.
Ensure that the spacer
bearing is properly installed
between the roller bearing
and the shaft.
NOTE: Make sure the flat
sides of the gears are facing
pull pin side of housing.
3. Using a new nylon hex nut,
tighten the shaft by
holding the shaft as shown
and tightening the hex nut
with a 7/8" wrench until it is
snug.
4. Assemble drive head in the following order.

5. Place on drive head and
screw in bolt (left
handed screw) with
3/16" allen. New bolt
must be used every time.
6. Ensure that gear and
pawls are facing the
correct way. See picture
below.
7. Install drive head cover and gasket.
Cable Assembly
1. Cut cable to length and route through reel
a. Cut 67' for 50' units
b. Cut 122' for 105' units
2. Braze on cable stop to end of cable and sand down excess.
(see brazing section for tips on brazing in the appendix)
3. Tap cable stop into reel and ensure stop is flush on both
sides:
4. Wrap cable around reel 4
times.
