3. Place on torque nut.
4. Wind cable and test brake setting (see Testing section).
5. Once brake is set put spanner nut on and screw in set
screw.
6. Place reel assembly back in housing, place axle through
and tighten. Replace housing cover and apply tamper
paint to appropriate screws (see exploded view).
Bracket Installation
1. Install bracket using
7/32" allen wrench.
2. Insert pin into the
bracket hole.
REASSEMBLY / TESTING
3. If pin does not go all the
way through then use a
rubber hammer to
slightly bend bracket.
TESTING
1. Place reel assembly, with torque tool on torque nut, in
special housing.
2. Attach to test weight and raise the cable. The test weight
should lift 600 lb weight and then lift the 75 lb bars.
3. Once the 75 lb bars reach the top, stop the lift. The bars
should drop slightly and hold, but the weight should not
hit the ground.
4. If weight drops to the floor, then tighten torque nut and
retest.
5. Once brake is set, place reel back into the original housing
and retest in original housing.
