Fitting instructions
Before putting the support on, the side joint splints must be adapted to
the contour of the leg by an expert. For forming, remove the splints from
the textile and align to the lateral course of the patient's leg by bending it
up (if applicable using a bending iron). Then, set the extension and flexion
restrictions on the medial and lateral toothed segment articulation. The
extension is factory set to 0°, flexion is unrestricted. A different extension
stop can be attached by loosening the assembly screw, removing the limit
stopper inserted ex-works, inserting the desired limit stopper and attaching it
with the assembly screw. You can work accordingly with flexion wedges.

For fitting, leave the two Velcro straps and the BORT Generation knee
brace padding supports below them open.

When sitting, lay the BORT Generation knee brace on the stretched
knee joint so that the patella recess is directly placed on the kneecap.

Then guide the padding supports around the thigh and shank and close
them.

Finally guide the two Velcro straps through the guide loops and close
them with the desired tension.
