3.8 - Bicarbonate Jet (Optional)

Prophylaxis equipment by application of bicarbonate jet,
located on the assistant module or on the working table. Besides the
handpiece (1), it is equipped with a bicarbonate reservoir (3) and a
water vapor filter (2) with drains built-in.
The bicarbonate reservoir (3) has a red line that determines
the limit for filing with sodium bicarbonate.

3.8.1 - Prophy-Jet (Optional)

Prophy-Jet is a bicarbonate jet instrument with a built-in
reservoir (5) and a removable tip (4).
To use it, open the reservoir (5) and put bicarbonate up
to the middle of the compartment (approximately 15 g). Close
the reservoir and install it at the pneumatic coupling on the
working table or pneumatic coupling on the assistant module.

3.8.2 - Bicarbonate Jet and Prophy-Jet Use Precautions

− Do not fill bicarbonate reservoirs with more than the indicated amount. Excessive amounts of bicarbonate
may impair the performance of the device;
− When handling sodium bicarbonate or using the bicarbonate jet, room ventilated and avoid powder
inhalation. In the case of inhalation, go to a ventilated place;
− To reduce the risk of inhalation of bicarbonate mist, use the Venturi saliva ejector or high power Vórtice
saliva ejector during the entire application of the bicarbonate jet. Keep the place ventilated during the
procedure;
− Use only sodium bicarbonate for dental use, which can be purchased in any dental store.

3.9 - Thermo Comfort System (Optional)

The Thermo Comfort provides a hot water system in the 3-way syringe and/or scaler with the output between
35°C and 45°C. It can present temperature control, according to the model. Its function is related to patient
comfort, minimizing sensitivity to temperature during the dental procedure.
Activation through command at the working table.
Technical Features:
− Bleeding time: ~6 s;
− Syringe's maximum temperature: 45°C;

3.10 - Air Jet System (Optional)

The Air Jet system provides agility in procedures with a high-speed rotation coupling. It consists of
continuous air jet through the coupling itself, eliminating the use of a syringe for this function.
Activation through command at the working table.

3.11 - ChronoLub System (Optional)

The ChronoLub system is an electronic timer that counts the working time of pneumatic handpieces to
indicate the correct moment for lubrication, through the multifunctional panel and audible warning.
The ChronoLub system is part of the multifunctional panel that also presents the digital adjustment of
optional devices such as the scaler and the electric micromotor, presents date and time information, birthday
note, Thermo Comfort system temperature adjustment, software version, and cardiac monitor.

3.12 - Cardiac Monitor (Optional)

The cardiac monitor is a supplementary device for monitoring the patient's heart rate. The reading of this
device should only be considered as an indicator.

3.13 - X-Ray Viewer (Optional)

The x-ray viewer is an LED illumination display, that allows you to view x-rays without the need to move away
from the patient.
− Tank capacity: 100 ml;
− Initial warm-up time: ~14 min.
