Using short carriage bolts, attach fairing to brackets
using the three most appropriate holes in fairing.

below the top of crossbar

fairing and a load on the
carrier. Try to axoid more

against plastic.

Position fairing so rubber strip rests on top
of windshield rim. Fairing may also rest on
windsheild, but NEVER ON PAINTED SURFACE.
Adjust brackets and Snap Arounds until rubber
strip contacts windshield with as few "gaps" as
possible. Gaps between rubber strip and trim may
result in "fluttering" of fairing.
• In some cases it may be
necessary to bend the
brackets slightly to adjust
"angle" of bracket.
• Use warm water and dish
detergent to clean the
fairing. Abrasive cleaning
compounds will cause
scratches on the plastic.
