KIT PREPARATION

1. Attach the clock/hazard housing to the
radio trim panel using (6) #4 x 3/8"
Phillips pan-head screws provided.
WARNING: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN
THE SCREWS.
2. Clip the clock/hazard assembly into the
radio trim panel. (Figure A)
3. Attach the (3) factory panel clips to the
radio trim panel.
Note: (3) panel clips have been
provided, only if the factory clips are
missing or damaged.

Insert Clock/Hazard switch assembly from
rear of 99-8235 radio housing trim panel
(Figure A)

KIT ASSEMBLY

1. Secure the radio brackets to the pocket
using the (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips truss-
head screws provided. (Figure A)
2. Slide the radio into the bracket/pocket
assembly, then secure using screws
supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness and
antenna connector in the dash. Metra
recommends using the proper mating
adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Test the
radio for proper operation.
4. Slide the radio into the dash, then
secure it using the factory screws.
5. Re-connect the clock/hazard assembly
back to the vehicle, then clip the radio
trim panel over the radio assembly.
6. Reassemble the dash in reverse
order of disassembly to complete the
installation.
