LED-Display

Two LEDs are installed on the front plate of
the servo amplifier to indicate the operating
condition and a reset button to reset the tigh-
tening channel after malfunction.

This LED serves primarily as an error display.
The BTB-LED has four states:
– Green LED is continuously on: No error,
LT is ready for operation
– Green LED flashes: No error, LT is not rea-
dy for operation, interruption of the PS si-
gnal (personnel safety)/emergency off
– Red LED is continuously on: Error, LT is
not ready for operation
– Orange LED is continuously on (red and
green are on simultaneously): termination
of the tightening process and switch-off of
the servo amplifier (sleep mode) because
the VM300 power supply is not ready for
operation.
During the tightening process: If the PS si-
gnal is interrupted during a tightening pro-
cess, e.g. via emergency off, braking and
termination of the tightening process occur
together with an error message sent to the
SE. The red BTB-LED is continuously on. The
error can be reset at the LT, as soon as the
PS signal and the motor contactor have been
reactivated. The green BTB-LED re-illumina-
tes. A new tightening process can only occur
after confirmation has been made via the
operating program.

Jumper setting

On the board is a jumper in the front fitting
position. The setting of this jumper determi-
nes how the tightening channel should be re-
leased:
– Setting PS: The motor starting contactors
are triggered centrally via interface X 4 at
the VM300 power supply (refer to the BT
300 Card-rack manual, personnel safety
with stationary tightening systems and
manual nutrunners).
– Setting manual operation: The motor star-
ting contactors are triggered via inter-
face X 5 at the servo amplifier (not in use
at this time).
6 Complaints and repairs
For complaints and repairs that require disas-
sembly, please send the servo amplifier fully
assembled to the supplier or our customer
service workshop in Murrhardt, Germany.
Complaints and repairs cannot be acknow-
ledged if this procedure is not followed.
