3 Safety Notes
Please keep this Technical Information in a
place easily accessible for all users.
The Technical Information is intended for
specially trained personnel who have a speci-
alized knowledge of the machine's hardware
components.
Repairs or other operations on the hardware
or software of our products, which are not de-
scribed in these instructions, may only be
carried out by Rexroth experts. Unqualified
repairs or operations on the hardware or soft-
ware or the failure to observe the warnings in
these instructions or warnings placed on the
product itself could lead to personal damage
or damage to property.
Qualified personnel are:
– Project personnel, familiar with the safety
regulations of automation systems and
electrical engineering.
– Operators, instructed in the use of the
equipment and having knowledge of the
relevant operational parts of this docu-
mentation.
– Commissioning personnel authorized to
set electric circuits and machines/sys-
tems into operation, earth and mark them,
in accordance with the regulations of se-
curity technology.
Repairs and replacement of parts carried out
by the user are his own responsibility. After
repairing or replacing parts, all prescribed
functional and safety checks must be carried
out.
For safety reasons, the servo amp-
lifiers can only be inserted or remo-
ved three minutes after the BT300
card-rack power supply has been
turned off.

Assembly Instructions

The servo amplifier must be inserted into the
provided slide-in slot in the BT300 card-rack.

Please take care that the servo amplifier is ful-
ly inserted.
The front knurled bolts must be tightened.
Please take care that the front blind fits close-
ly to the BT300.
For driving the tightening system spindles of
different sizes, various servo amplifiers are
available.
LT303 for EC-Motor EC303 and EC302
LT304 for EC-Motor EC304 and EC303
LT305 for EC-Motor EC305 and EC304
Because of the different power consumpti-
ons of the various servo amplifiers, not every
combination of equipment is permitted.
Please use the following table or formula to
equip the card-rack.
Before the servo amp-
lifier is inserted, the
BT300 card-rack must
be switched to neutral.
A discharging time of
three minutes should
be taken into account.
