Side discharge chute (if available): apart from
discharging the grass on the ground laterally,
it also constitutes a safety element, preventing
any objects collected by the cutting means
from being projected away from the machine.

Handle: this is the operator's work station.
It is long enough to ensure the operator
remains at a safe distance from the
rotary cutting means whilst working.
Battery (if it is not supplied with the machine,

provides the energy for starting the motor;
its specifications and regulations for use
are described in a specific manual.

Switch control (Type I): starts/stops the
engine and at the same time engages/
disengages the cutting means.

Operator presence lever (Type II/
III - Advanced Series) : this lever enables
the cutting means and the drive. The motor
stops when both levers are released.

Drive engagement lever (if available):
this lever engages the drive to the wheels
and allows the machine to move forward.

Hatch for accessing the battery compartment

Safety key (Deactivation device): The key
enables / disables the machine electric circuit.

Battery charger (if it is not supplied with the
machine, see chapter 15 "attachments on
request"): device used to recharge the battery.

ASSEMBLY

The safety regulations to follow are described in
chap. 2. Strictly comply with these instructions to avoid
serious risks or dangers.
For storage and transport purposes, some components of
the machine are not installed in the factory and have to be
assembled after unpacking. Follow the instructions below.
Unpacking and completing the assembly should
be done on a flat and stable surface, with enough
space for moving the machine and its packaging,
always making use of suitable equipment. Do not use
the machine until all the instructions provided in the
"ASSEMBLY" section have been carried out.
4.1

ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS

The packaging includes assembly components.
4.1.1
Unpacking
1.
Carefully open the packaging, paying
attention not to lose components.
2.
Consult the documentation in the box,
including these instructions.
3.
Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.
4.
Dispose of the box and packaging in
compliance with local regulations.
Before assembling, make sure the safety key is
not inserted into its housing.
4.2

HANDLE ASSEMBLY

• Type "I"
Assembly the handle as illustrated in (Fig.3.0).
• Type "II" - Advanced Series
Assemble the handle according to the
indications in (Fig.4.0) (Fig.8.0).
• Type "III" - Advanced Series
Assemble the handle according to the
indications in (Fig.9.0) (Fig.12.0).

CONTROLS

5.1

SAFETY KEY (DEACTIVATION DEVICE)

The key (Fig.13.A) found inside the battery compartment
enables / disables the machine's electrical circuit.
Removing the key, the electric circuit is completely
deactivated to prevent uncontrolled use of the machine.
IMPORTANT Remove the safe key whenever
the machine is unused or left unattended.
5.2

HANDLE - TYPE "I"

5.2.1

Switch command

The switch control starts/stops the engine and at the
same time engages/disengages the cutting means.
The positions shown correspond to:
Operation. To start the device, press
1.
the safety button (Fig.14.A), pull one of
the two levers (Fig.14.B) and wait for
2-3 seconds for the engine to start.
2.
When the engine starts, the cutting
means is also engaged.
3.
Stopping. The engine automatically stops
when both levers are released (Fig.14.B).
