OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Trigger Switch a. To turn the saw ON, squeeze the trigger switch (A). WARNING • The blade should reach full speed before it comes into contact with the workpiece. b. To turn it OFF, release the trigger switch and allow the blade to come to a complete stop. - Página 11 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS NOTICE: The saw teeth should point upward at the front of the saw. g. Replace the outer blade flange with the protuberance facing outward. h. Depress and hold the spindle-lock button and replace the blade bolt. Tighten the blade bolt securely by turning it clockwise with the blade wrench. NOTICE: Never use a blade that is too thick to allow the outer blade flange to engage with the flat section of the spindle.
- Página 12 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 4. LED worklight The circular saw is equipped with an LED worklight (K), which will illuminate when the plug is connected to the power source. This provides additional light on the surface of the work piece for operation in lower-light areas. The LED worklight will turn off when the plug is disconnected from the power source.

Tilt the body of the saw until the indicator mark on the saw aligns with the required angle on the bevel-angle scale.

WARNING • To make sawing easier and safer, always maintain proper control of the saw. Loss of control could cause an accident resulting in serious injury.
- Página 15 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 9. Cross-Cutting/Rip Cutting When making a cross-cut or a rip cut, align the guideline with the 0˚ blade-guide notch (L) on the base as shown in Fig.9a. The distance from the saw blade to the saw base is approximately 1-1/2 in.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 1. Interruptor de gatillo a. Para encender la sierra, apriete el interruptor de gatillo (A). ADVERTENCIA • La hoja debe alcanzar su velocidad máxima antes de entrar en contacto con la pieza de trabajo. b. Para apagarla, suelte el interruptor de gatillo y espere hasta que la hoja se detenga por completo. - Página 30 INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO e. Use la palanca del protector inferior (F) para retraer el protector inferior de la hoja (G) hacia el interior del protector superior de la hoja (E). Ajuste la hoja de sierra dentro del protector inferior de la hoja (I) y en el husillo. Verifique que los dientes de la sierra, la flecha en la hoja de la sierra y la flecha en el indicador de rotación en el protector de hoja apunten en la misma dirección.

Sistema del protector de la hoja El protector inferior de la hoja (G) en la sierra circular está diseñado para brindar protección y seguridad al operador. No lo modifique por ningún motivo. Si el protector de hoja inferior se daña o si la hoja comienza a girar lentamente, NO opere la sierra hasta que se haya reparado o reemplazado la pieza dañada.
- Página 32 INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 5. Ajuste de la profundidad de corte ADVERTENCIA • SIEMPRE desenchufe la sierra antes de realizar cualquier ajuste. El incumplimiento de esta advertencia puede provocar un arranque accidental, lo que puede causar lesiones personales graves. El ajuste de profundidad de la hoja correcto para todos los cortes no debe exceder el grosor del material que se corta en más de 6,35 mm.

Afloje la perilla de bloqueo de bisel, incline el cuerpo de la sierra hasta que esta no pueda moverse y apriete la perilla de bloqueo de bisel para fijar la sierra.

Corte transversal/Corte longitudinal lAl realizar un corte trasversal o longitudinal, alinee la línea de referencia con la muesca guía de la hoja en 0° (N) en la base, como se muestra en la Fig. 9a. La distancia desde la hoja de la sierra hasta la base de la sierra es de aproximadamente 3,81 cm en el lado izquierdo de la sierra y 12,7 cm en el lado derecho .
