1. Unclip and remove the trim panel surrounding the
shifter including the cup holders. (Figure A)
2. Remove (2) 9/32" screws from the bottom of the
radio panel then unclip and remove the panel.

Note: The 4-pin harness that is connected to this
panel will connect to the supplied 4-pin to 6-pin
climate extension harness, and then into the 99-
5823CH radio/housing climate panel.

3. Remove (4) Phillips
screws securing the
radio.

4. Remove panel clips from
factory radio, or use the
provided panel clips, and
attach them to the back
of the radio housing.
