"Tips For Making Tea". But you should also note the prepa-
ration instructions on the tea packaging.
2. Place the tea strainer onto the strainer holder. When you do
this, make sure that the locking lugs sit in the recesses which
are provided for them. Twist the tea strainer clockwise to
secure it in place.
3. Boil water and if necessary allow it to cool down to the
temperature you want before pouring it into the teapot.
For black or green tea, we recommend that you only fi ll
the teapot up to the MAX marking (approx. 850 ml) as
the tea strainer should be pulled out of the tea entirely
after the desired infusion time.
If the teapot is fi lled with more water, the tea strainer
remains in the tea, which means that the infusion time is
extended. With loose white tea and most fruit and herbal
teas, a longer infusion time does not have any negative
effect on the fl avour.
4. Place the tea strainer carefully into the teapot and close it
with the lid.
5. Once the infusion time for your tea has elapsed, pull up the
tea strainer by the knob and fl ip the rod once the joint is
visible. The tea strainer will then be fi xed above the MAX
marking and the tea will no longer brew.
6. You can now pour the tea from the teapot directly into
your favourite cup.
We hope you enjoy drinking your tea!
