Unscrewing the Drill Chuck (Figure B)
Clamp Allen key 9 (size 8 mm) into the drill chuck.
Clamp the other end of the Allen key into a vice.
Unscrew the machine from the drill chuck.
Mounting the Drill Chuck
Before mounting the drill chuck, the thread and the face
surface of the drill spindle must be cleaned with a wire
brush and degreased. Afterwards, clamp Allen key 9
(size 8 mm) into the drill chuck.
Applying Adhesive
Würth adhesive must be applied to the thread of the
drill chuck. Screw the drill chuck onto the drill spindle
and tighten firmly (tightening torque: 45 Nm). Screw in
the locking screw 8.
Allow the adhesive bond to cure according to instruc-
tions.
Advices for operation
Sharpening drill bits
Only HSS drill bits in perfect condition (HSS = high
speed steel) should be used for drilling metal. Würth
quality is guaranteed by the Würth accessory program.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep the
machine and the ventilation slots clean.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the care
taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be car-
ried out by an authorized customer service agent for
Würth power tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always
include the article number on the type plate of the
machine.

ager" or ask for a copy at your nearest Würth branch
office.
For this Würth tool, we provide a warranty in accord-
ance with statutory/country-specific regulations from
the date of purchase (proof of purchase by invoice or
delivery note). Damage that has occurred will be cor-
rected by replacement or repair.
Damage caused by normal wear, overloading or
improper handling is excluded from the warranty.
Claims can be recognised only when the tool is pre-
sented undisassembled to a Würth branch office or a
Würth field service employee.
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
