1. Load the fastening tool. → page 25
2. Hold the fastening tool perpendicular to the working surface and then press it at right angles against the
surface.
3. Press the trigger to drive the fastener.
4. Repeat the loading and driving operation.
6.3 Driving fasteners
DX 450-USS
For this application, it is imperative to set the fasteners inside the rails.
1. Load the fastening tool. → page 25
2. Hold the fastening tool perpendicular to the working surface and then press it at right angles against the
surface.
3. Press the trigger to drive the fastener.
▶ Check the driving depth and, if necessary, adjust the driving energy.
4. Repeat the loading and driving operation.
After 100 fastener-driving operations, check the piston for damage. Replace a damaged piston.
6.4 Unloading fastening tool
1. Pull the cartridge strip out of the fastening tool.
2. Check that there is no fastener in the fastener guide.
