Loading fastening tool
Important: Always load the fastener into the fastening tool first and then load the cartridge strip. An incorrect
loading sequence will result in the first cartridge being skipped and left unfired.
When loading, hold the fastening tool laid flat on its side (lettering facing up). This will keep the nail
from falling out during the loading procedure.
1. Insert the fastener, tip first, into the loading chamber of the cycling lever.
2. Pull to release the cycling lever from its retainer and flip the cycling lever forward through 180°.
3. Slide the loading lever all the way toward the fastening tool.
▶ This positions the fastener correctly in the fastener guide.
4. Slide the loading lever back to its initial position.
5. Flip the cycling lever back to its initial position until it engages in the retainer.
6. Push the cartridge strip, narrow end first, into the cartridge barrel (insert) until the full length of the
cartridge strip is inside the grip.
7. Set the driving energy. → page 24
