Rimage Producer III™ and Producer IIIN™ User Guide

Operate Gemini Utilities

Producer Software Suite includes an application called Gemini Utilities, which is used to update the autoloader

firmware. You can also use Gemini Utilities to change the display name of the Producer III and to enable the beeper.

Tip: To access Gemini Utilities for the Producer IIIN, use the remote desktop connection from a networked PC,

or connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the Producer 7100N or Producer 8100N.

Close all open applications and stop all Rimage Services.

Note: Refer to your Rimage Software online help for additional information.

Navigate: Start > Programs > Rimage > Utilities > Gemini Utilities. Gemini Utilities opens.

Note: When the desired tasks are complete, start the Rimage Services.

Use Gemini Utilities to enter the name displayed on the operator panel.

Select the Override Name checkbox. Ensure that the Use Computer Name checkbox is not selected.

In the Display Name field, enter the new name.

Select Set Params to update the firmware with the new name.

You can change the number of beeps that occur when there is an error.

In the # of Beeps on Fault field, select the number of beeps you wish to hear when there is an error.

Tip: To disable the beeper, set the number to zero.

Select Set Params to update the firmware.
