-Remove the remote control batteries.

Cleaning the air filter

-Remove the air filter.
-Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner
or with water.
-Once it is clean, dry it in the shade.
-Refit the filter.
Cleaning the active carbon filter
-First remove the air filter and then the
active carbon filter.
-Clean the surface with water
-Leave it to dry in the sun
-Fit the active carbon filter frame (with
the grey sponge) and then fit the air
filter.
Advice for obtaining the best possible
performance from the appliance
-When you activate cooling mode, try
to keep a difference of 5ºC between the
indoor and outdoor temperature.
Remember that an excessively low
temperature in summer can damage
your health.
-Prevent heat from outside coming in
(when cooling mode is activated, draw
the curtains at windows where sunlight
comes directly in, do not open doors
and windows more than necessary and
do not place heat sources in the room).
-If the filters are dirty or obstructed,
the air flow is blocked and the
effectiveness of the cooling or heating
is reduced.
-Set the horizontal and vertical deflector
slats to direct the air in order to
homogenise the ambient temperature.
-Do not directly expose the appliance
to hot or cold air for prolonged periods.
-Increasing the fan speed contributes
towards improving the cooling effect.
-When heating mode is activated,
maintain a suitable level of humidity
in the room in order to improve comfort.

-The trip switch is on and the power
supply is working properly.
