4.3.4 Scanning rate rAtE – (M6)
The scanning rate describes the time interval between the
measurement output data readings to the receiving instrument
(either PC or PLC) via the RS232 interface. This scan time interval
is set in the menu rAte .
M5 is selected with the + / - keys and the parameter selection is
activated by SET . The scanning rate is set with the + / - keys. A
range between 0.001. . 025.5 seconds can be selected with the
+ / - keys. The setting procedure is ended by pressing SET .

The SCE-020-02 sends the measurement readings to the receiving
instrument (PC or PLC, respectively) according to these settings.
- Starting and stopping the data transfer
- Start command:
By sending the character B (Begin), the SCE-020-02 sends the
measurement readings to the corresponding receiving instrument
(PC or PLC) sequentially. This mode is activated automatically upon
switching on the SCE-020-02.
- Stop command:
By sending the character E ( End ), from the PC or PLC, the data
transfer is stopped.
