Or obtain a 1.4 mm nylon string from a
specialised dealer and wind it onto the
spool yourself. If you do, mind to use no
more than 2 x 5 m of string and to wind it
strictly parallel along the two thread chan-
nels and against the direction of motor ro-
tation. The arrow on the protective cover
indicates the direction of motor rotation.
Disposal and protection
of the environment
Dispose of the trimmer, its accessories
and the packaging in an environment-
friendly manner.
Electrical appliances must not be
disposed of with the domestic waste
Hand in a redundant trimmer to a recy-
cling centre. The plastic and metals can
then be sorted out and graded for recy-
cling. Our Service Centre will be happy to
answer any questions in this respect.
Defective units returned to us will be dis-
posed of for free.
