Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow
the warnings and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-oper-
ated (cordless) power tool.
 Wear hearing protection when drilling
with impact. Exposure to noise can cause hear-
ing loss.
 Use auxiliary handles if supplied with the
power tool. Loss of control can lead to injury.
 Hold power tool by the insulated grip-
ping surfaces, when performing an oper-
ation where the cutting accessory may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cut-
ting accessory contacting a "live" wire may make
exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and
could give the operator an electric shock.
 The built-in safety clutch only responds to sudden
jerky blocking; therefore, always use the auxiliary
handle.
 Use protective equipment. When working with the
power tool, always wear safety glasses/goggles.
Protective clothing, such as dust protection mask,
protective gloves, sturdy and non-slip footwear,
hard hat and hearing protection are recommended.
 Do not work materials containing asbes-
tos. Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.
 Switch off the power tool immediately if the applica-
tion tool is blocked or jams! Do not switch the
power tool on again while the application tool is
blocked; this could lead to kickback with high reac-
tion torque. Determine and correct the cause of the
blockage of the application tool, taking the safety
warnings into account.

Possible causes could be:
• Jamming in the workpiece
• Breaking through the material being worked
• Overloading the power tool
 Do not reach into the running power tool.
 The application tool can become hot during opera-
tion.
WARNING! Danger of burning when changing
application tools or placing down the power tool.
 Chips or splinters may not be removed while the
power tool is running.
 Always keep the connection cable away from the
working area of the power tool. Always conduct
the mains cable to the rear away from the power
tool.
 When drilling in walls, ceilings or floors, pay atten-
tion to electrical cables, gas and water lines.
 Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped
with clamping devices or in a vice is held more
secure than by hand.
 For large drill diameters, the auxiliary handle must
be attached at a right angle to the main handle
(also see figure in section "rotate handle").
 Use only original Würth accessories.
Working safely with this product
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly
followed.
