Operating Instructions
Guide the machine with one hand on the handle 6
and the other hand on the auxiliary handle 3.
The mark 20 makes sawing along a line drawn on
the workpiece easier. For 45° bevel cuts, follow
along the line with mark 21.
Excessive feed reduces the performance capability
of the battery.
Sawing performance and cut quality depend essen-
tially on the condition and tooth form of the saw
blade. Therefore, use only sharp saw blades that are
suitable for the material to be worked.
The correct selection of the saw blade depends on
the type and quality of the wood and whether
lengthway or crossway cuts are required.
Beech and oak dust is especially detrimental to
health. Therefore, work only with dust extraction.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
Always keep the machine and the ventilation slots
clean.
The blade guard must always be able to move freely
and retract automatically. Therefore, always keep
the area around the blade guard clean. Remove
sawdust and chips with a brush or by blowing out
with compressed air.
Uncoated saw blades can be protected from corro-
sion with a thin coat of acid-free oil. Remove the oil
again before use to prevent spotting of wood.
Resin and glue residue on the saw blade cause poor
cutting results. Therefore, clean the saw blade imme-
diately after use.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing, repair should be carried
out by a Würth Master-Service agent.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, al-
ways include the article number on the type plate of
the machine.
For the current spare parts list of this machine, log

partsmanager" or ask for a copy at your nearest
Würth branch office.
