If the result shows that a previous older version
of the fuel-level sensor is fitted in the vehicle, this
must be replaced with the modified version
(for part number see EPC).

If changes are being made to a system which
is already fitted, care must be taken to see that
only a fuel-level sensor and tank extractor of the
modified design are fitted. If the fuel-level sensor is
being renewed, the rubber seal and the screw cap
must also be renewed.

5. Fit Telestart antenna

Clean windscreen in area where antenna
is to be stuck.
Remove protective film and fix adhesive
antenna (1) as illustrated.
Adhesion temperature at least 20 °C.
Install antenna lead (2) down the A-pillar and from
there through the E-box along the vehicle wiring
harness to the installation location of the parking
heater in the engine compartment.

The antenna lead (2) must be installed in such
a way that the ITS head air bag (if present) is in no
way stopped from unfolding.
6. Install park heating wiring
harness
F 39 64 251 R
Put blower relay K1 (3) on to the relay base (1).
In the plug-in places in the fuse box A (2),
one each of the 1 A blade terminal fuses (5) and
one 20 A blade terminal fuse (4) must be inserted.
