Device Description

The Bard* Button Device Decompression Tube is a detachable 24" (61 cm)
decompression tube, including a clamp and a distal adaptor designed specifically
for use with the Bard* Button replacement gastrostomy device.
The following chart indicates the appropriate decompression tube to be used with
the various sized Bard* Button replacement gastrostomy devices:

Indications for Use

To provide gastric decompression in patients requiring long-term nutritional
support or who are otherwise unable to expel gas or gastric contents.
Contraindications
Include use of this device with any product other than the Bard* Button replacement
gastrostomy device; or for indications other than gastric decompression.
Warning
Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of
a physician.
