Preparing the Appliance
Illustration
Screw the hose connection onto the
pump and make sure that the flat seal is
installed in the hose connection.
Note
The shorter the hose, the higher the feed
rate.
Push the hose on the hose connection
and fasten it with appropriate hose clip
In automatic mode, the switching height
is already predefined by the length of
the level sensor cable.
Illustration
In manual operations mode, align the
level sensor upward (cable pointing
downward). Tip: Push the cable of the
level sensor like a loop through the han-
dle and position the level sensor as
shown.

Place the pump on a level, stabile sur-
face in the liquid to be transported, en-
sure that it is standing firmly or immerse
it using a rope tied to the handle.
The suction area should not be blocked
fully or partially through the impurities.
Operation
The fluid level must be at least 3 cm (SCP
5000) or 8 cm (SCDP 5000) for the pump to
suck in automatically.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
Automatic operation
In the automatic mode, the level switch au-
tomatically controls the pumping opera-
tions. The pump starts when the fluid level
reaches a certain height.
The pump is shut off starts when the fluid
level falls to a certain level.
Ensure that the level sensor is not obstruct-
ed in any way.
Manual operation
In manual opertions the pump remains
switched on continuously.
Note:
Dry run leads to increased wear and tear;
do not leave the pump unattended when it
is running. Switch off the pump within 3
minutes of dry running.
Finish operation
Rinse the pump with clean water after
use.
Especially after running chlorinated wa-
ter or other liquids that leave residue
behind.
Note
Contaminations can accumulate and lead
to malfunctions.
Disconnect the main plug from the
socket.
