8 - PROGRAMMING FURTHER TRANSMITTERS
USING A PREVIOUSLY MEMORIZED FIRST
TRANSMITTER
8.1 - Programming additional transmitters in Mode I (using a
previously memorized transmitter)
This procedure enables you to program further transmitters using a transmitter pre-
viously memorized in Mode I, as explained in Chapter 7. The following procedure
exactly copies the functions of the first transmitter to the new transmitter.
01. (on the new unit) Hold down the button n for at least 8 seconds; release it (the
dimmer's led will flash red).
02. (on the old unit) Slowly press the button n 3 times, if it has been memorized.
03. (on the new unit) To terminate the procedure, hold down the button n for at least
5 seconds and then release it. If the procedure was a success the dimmer's led
will briefly flash green 2 times, and the lamp will turn on at around 50% bright-
ness. If the procedure has failed the dimmer's led will flash orange 2 times. In this
case, turn off the device, turn it back on, wait for 150 seconds and repeat the
procedure from the beginning.
8.2 - Programming additional transmitters in Mode II (using a
previously memorized transmitter)
This procedure enables you to program further transmitters using a transmitter previ-
ously memorized in Mode I, as explained in Chapter 7. The procedure memorizes
the new unit in Mode II.
Before starting, turn on the lamp, set it to minimum brightness, and turn it off.
01. (on the old unit) Hold down the button n; wait (5 seconds) until the lamp turns
on at maximum brightness. Now release the button. The dimmer's led will emit a
single brief green flash.
02. (on the old unit) Hold down the button n; wait (5 seconds) for the brightness of
the lamp to reduce to about 10%. Now release the button. The dimmer's led will
emit 2 brief green flashes.
03. (on the old unit) From the following list, select the command you wish to program
and slowly press the button n the corresponding number of times:
• "Dimmer Up > Dimmer Down > Dimmer Up > etc....." / "Toggle" (= 1
press of button n)
• "Dimmer Up" (= 2 presses of button n)
• "Dimmer Down" (= 3 presses of button n)
5 – English
• "Toggle" (= 4 presses of button n)
• "Level 1" (= 5 presses of button n)
• "Level 2" (= 6 presses of button n)
• "Level 3" (= 7 presses of button n)
• "Level 4" (= 8 presses of button n)
• "Off" (= 9 presses of button n)
• "On" (= 10 presses of button n)
Wait 10 seconds for the lamp to turn off completely, after which the led will briefly
flash green for the same number of times as the number of presses of the button
n, for the selected command. Caution! – it is essential that you wait for the lamp
to turn off completely before sending any commands with the new unit; if you
attempt to transmit commands prematurely, the transmitter is not memorized.
04. (on the new unit) Hold down the button you wish to program and wait (5 sec-
onds) for the lamp to turn on. If the procedure was successful, the led will emit 3
brief green flashes and the lamp will turn on. If the lamp does not turn on, repeat
the procedure from the beginning.
If you wish to memorise another button on the same, or another, transmitter, repeat
the procedure from the beginning.
8.3 - Deleting the memory (using a previously memorized
transmitter)
You can use a transmitter memorized in Mode I to totally or partially delete the dim-
mer's memory.
Before starting, turn on the lamp, set it to minimum brightness, and turn it off.
01. Hold down the button n; wait (5 seconds) until the lamp turns on at 100%
brightness. Now release the button. The dimmer's led will emit a single brief
green flash.
02. Hold down the button t; wait (5 seconds) for the lamp to turn on at 10% bright-
ness. Now release the button. The dimmer's led will emit 2 brief green flashes.
03. Hold down the button s; wait (5 seconds) until the lamp turns on at 50% bright-
ness. Now release the button. The dimmer's led will emit 3 brief green flashes.
04. Hold down the button n; wait (5 seconds) until the lamp turns on at 10% bright-
ness. Now release the button. The dimmer's led will emit 4 brief green flashes.
05. Select what you wish to delete from the list, then press and hold down the but-
ton on the transmitter corresponding to the choice:
• delete transmitters only (= hold down s);
• delete parameters only (= hold down n);
• delete all transmitters and parameters (= hold down t).
Wait (5 seconds) for the lamp to turn off completely. Now release the button. The
dimmer's led will emit 2 brief green flashes and the lamp will turn off. If the lamp
