and remove upper part. To close the base (8) again, put the upper
part on the base and press to hear the latch buttons (9) click.
BATTERY CHARGING
Screwdriver is supplied with partially charged battery. It is
recommended that the first charging last for 5 hours. Battery
charging should be carried out in temperature between 4
40
C.
O
Standard charging:
• Insert the charger cord plug into the socket for charger (4) located
in the screwdriver casing (fig. B).
• Connect the charger to mains socket 230 VAC.
• Battery level indicator (2) located on the screwdriver casing lights
up (fig. D) to indicate that the charging is in progress.
Charging with use of the base:
• Insert the charger cord plug into the socket for charger (4) located
in the screwdriver casing (fig. C).
• Connect the charger to mains socket 230 VAC.
• Put the cordless screwdriver on the base (8) (fig. C).
• Battery level indicator (2) located on the screwdriver casing lights
up (fig. D) to indicate that the charging is in progress.
The red battery level indicator diode (2) (fig. D) will stay lit for the
whole charging process. When the battery is fully charged, all three
diodes of the battery level indicator (2) will be lit (fig. D).
Do not charge the battery for more than 8 hours. Exceeding this
time limit may cause damage to battery cells.
Batteries heat up strongly when charging. Do not operate
just after charging – wait for the battery to cool down to room
temperature. It will prevent battery damage.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATION
The screwdriver features battery level indicator (2). The battery level
is indicated with state of three diodes. To check the battery level:
• Press the button of battery level indicator (3) (fig. D).
• When all 3 diodes are lit, the battery level is high.
• When 2 diodes are lit, the battery is partially discharged.
• When only 1 diode is lit, the battery is discharged and must be
recharged.
FLASHLIGHT
The cordless screwdriver is equipped in flashlight (7) to illuminate
the workplace. Each time the switch button (5) is pressed, the
flashlight (7) turns on to illuminate the workplace. The flashlight (7)
automatically turns off when the switch button (5) is released.
INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT OF WORKING TOOLS
• Place appropriate working bit directly in the screwdriver holder
(1).
• Ensure the bit is inserted to the end and is properly installed.
• To remove the working tool, pull the working bit out of the tool
holder (1).
With short driver bits use additional driver bit adapter. It is
recommended to always make a pilot hole before screwing screws
with the screwdriver.
SPINDLE BRAKE
Cordless screwdriver is equipped with electronic brake, which stops
the spindle immediately after the switch button is released. The
brake ensures precision when screwing or drilling and prevents free
spindle rotation after switching off.

O
C and
Counter-clockwise rotation – set the direction selector switch (6)
to the extreme right position.
* In certain cases position of the direction selector switch relating to rotation direction may be different
than specified. Please refer to graphic signs placed on the switch or tool body.
Safe position of the direction selector switch (6) is in the middle, it
prevents accidental starting of the power tool.
• Screwdriver cannot be started, when the switch is in this position.
• Use this position of the switch to change drills or bits.
• Before starting the tool make sure the position of the direction
selector switch (6) is correct.
Do not change direction of rotation when the spindle of the
screwdriver is rotating.
Long lasting drilling at low rotational speed of the spindle
may cause motor overheating. Provide regular breaks during
operation or let the tool operate at maximum speed with no load
for approximately 3 minutes.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
