SWITCHING ON /SWITCHING OFF
Switching on - press the switch button (9).
Switching off - release the pressure on the switch button (9).
SPEED ADJUSTMENT
The drilling or tightening speed can be controlled during work by increasing or decreasing pressure on
the switch button (9). The speed control allows for a slow start, which prevents a drill from slipping, when
holes are drilled in a dry wall or glazed wall, while it helps to control the operation during tightening and
loosening.
TORQUE ADJUSTMENT
The setting of the torque control ring (2) to a selected position locks the clutch to a specified amount of
torque. When the set amount of torque is reached, the overload clutch will be automatically disconnected.
This prevents from overtightening of a screw or damaging the tool.
Different values of torque are applied to various types of screws and materials. The higher is the number
corresponding to a given position, the higher is the torque.
Set the torque control ring (2) to a specified amount of torque (fig. F).
The work should be started with a lower value of torque.
Increase the torque gradually until appropriate value is set (range 0 ÷ 10).
Higher settings should be used to loosen screws.
The ability to select proper torque settings comes with practice.
The setting of the torque control ring to the drilling position deactivates the overload clutch.
ROTATION DIRECTIONS - LEFT AND RIGHT
The direction of spindle rotations is selected by means of the rotation direction switch (6) (fig. G).
Left rotations - set the rotation direction switch (6) in the extreme left position.
Right rotations - set the rotation direction switch (6) in the extreme right position.
* It is reserved that in some cases the position of the rotation direction switch in relation to rotations may be different than
described. Refer to graphic signs located on the rotation direction switch or on the tool casing.
The middle position of the rotation direction switch (6) is a safe position that prevents accidental activation
of the power tool:
The screwdriver can not be activated in this position.
Bits and drills are replaced in this position.
Before the tool is activated, make sure the rotation direction switch (6) is set to a correct position.
The direction of rotations can not be changed, when the screwdriver spindle rotates.
Long-lasting drilling with low torque of the spindle may overheat the motor. Periodical breaks
in operation must be taken or allow the tool to operate with maximum speed without load for
approximately 3 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to clean the tool after each use.
Do not use any cleaning agents, as they may damage parts of the tool made of plastic.
Clean the casing with dry cloth.
Venting slots in the motor housing should be cleaned on a regular basis not to overload the tool.
The tool should always be stored in a dry place and out of reach of children.
All types of faults and defects should be eliminated by an authorised service of the manufacturer.
